I have to give Carpet Cleaning Oakland a thumbs up for their service! I had my children and grandkids over last week for brunch and one of them took their dog up to my room, and oh my lord it was a mess! Messi (the dog) was not feeling well all day and poor thing made a big mess right on my sheets, and it stained right through my mattress and smelled terrible. I tried cleaning it on my own but nothing worked so i decided to have someone come take a look. I called and the young lady Mercedes was so understanding and guaranteed to send someone over the same day. The young man came in the afternoon and took a look and explained to me how much the stain removal will cost and how he could do the service right there! I just needed someone desperately to get rid of the odor, so I agreed- and I am glad I did! He was in and out, and told me to give it a few hours to dry, got me a little worried I tell you. I checked after a couple hours and have to tell you my mattress looked brand new, and the smell was gone! I would give this company more than 5 stars if I could! They were so efficient and quick!

About one week ago, my daughter tried to do laundry and ended up overflowing the washing machine. The soap and water went all over the carpeted basement of my home. I was freaking out, I googled the first thing that came to mind which was carpet cleaning companies that extract water from carpets and 510-210-0930 number popped up. I gave a call to Carpet Cleaning Oakland and they said a technician will be at my home within the next 45 minutes to one hour. The representative took down my information and I was just on standby. The company was true to the 45 minute to one hour window frame. After 25 minutes a technician gave me a call that he was about 30 minutes away from my home. The technician came in for my free estimate and explained what he was going to do with my carpets. The technician explained what exactly happened and what will happen if I do not take care of the situation. To think I may have to replace my carpet for possible mold or harm to my family, I was politely told if I don’t take care of the problem it will get worse. So I told him let’s go with the services after talking with my husband. The results are truly amazing; I am very satisfied with the customer service I was given from the representatives as well as the technician.  I will definitely recommend this company to my family and friends.

When we found out our youngest child would be graduating high school and entering college a year early, we were very proud, and also delighted to have the house to ourselves! Of course, after two decades of having children around, we were now left with less than desirable looking furniture. My husband suggested we replace everything with furniture from a second hand store, but I wasn’t going to give up so easily. I called these guys.

From the moment they arrived at the door they were professional, courteous and took the time to answer all my questions. They explained which stains would be the toughest to treat and how I could do my part by vacuuming the upholstery before they started their work. They pre-treated the entire furniture with special chemicals designed for the specific fabrics and they pre-treated the really tough stains. With meticulous care, they used an industrial vacuum with a special rinse to extract the dirt and soil from our furniture. I couldn’t believe that they then went through and combed all of the furniture before they used high-powered turbo fans to quick dry the furniture. The whole process only lasted a few hours and they were so polite and professional, I will be having my furniture cleaned more often.

My wife has an oriental rug that was passed down from her great grandmother to her grandmother, then to her mother. She loves that rug and every time we went to her mother’s house she would remark about all the memories she had on that rug. When her mother passed away, I barely saw her smile until the day that her father gave her the rug and we moved it into our house. Unfortunately, her mother did not pass on her secrets to keeping the rug in a nice condition. After a while, the beautiful colors began to appear dingy. I thought there could be nothing done for such an old rug, but a friend told me about this company and what an amazing job they did with my friend’s rug.

While my wife was out shopping for a dress to wear to our anniversary dinner, I brought the heirloom into the shop and watched the miraculous process. First, they did an air dusting with powerful but soft compressed air to remove any dry soil. Then they did a submersion wash with a disinfectant bath. They put the rug through a gentle ringer, removing all the dirt and cleaning agents. Then they put it through an air/rinse system. The difference was amazing and it was the best anniversary present my wife ever received.

My wife usually writes these things. She loves writing product reviews. I swear sometimes she buys things just so she can write a flippin’ review for it. But we made a deal: I let her spend money to hire a company to come in and clean our carpets, whole house from top to bottom. If I wasn’t satisfied, then she’d have to completely steam clean all the carpets (we have a large house) once a month every month. If I lost, I’d have to write a positive review. Even if I thought they were going to do a good job, I was going to fake my disapproval.

But man, when I walked in, the smell is the first thing I noticed. It was like moving into new house! I couldn’t contain my delight. I did some research and found that the company uses a method called “Hot Water Extraction,” where they take hot water, spray it into the carpet, and then remove it with an industrial strength vacuum cleaner. This is a process that is best done by professionals so they can remove all the water. Unprofessional companies leave water behind, which causes mold, mildew and extensive damage. Not these guys. Our carpets look and feel brand new. I usually hate losing, but this is one time I’m glad I was wrong.

My mother is 72 years old. When she retired, she woke up every morning and cleaned her house, top to bottom. A few months ago, she fell and broke her hip. While I was happy to help her, her personality became overwhelming so I finally convinced her to let me hire a carpet cleaning company as a gift to her, and to myself.

She wanted to supervise but I put my foot down and said, “Trust these guys.” I was a little concerned, but when we returned, the look on my mother’s face was priceless. I called and asked them what sort of miracle potion they used and they told me “hot water.” I couldn’t believe it. They told me they had a process that allowed the hot water to penetrate all the way down to the roots of the carpet, and that was the tricky part, because they then had to remove that water completely to prevent damage to the carpet. But these guys are the real deal, and worth every penny, even though they did not charge a lot. Professional, reasonable price, wonderful work!
